Amazon has enabled a lending feature for some books (publishers decide whether to allow it or not) on the Amazon Kindle. This means that if you buys a book you can share it with a friend, just as if it were a real book (obviously, you can’t both read it at the same time). We are seeing a seismic shift in the way reading occurs and ereaders like the Kindle are the future. Offering a lending scenario overcomes one of the largest remaining drawbacks to ereaders.
